Ragusa Republic

Part of Unity education at PISMO Novska Croatia

Ragusa Republic was presented as the final project of educational program "INKUBATOR - PISMO" for "Unity/Blender game developer".  It was made  during three months period in collaboration between:

• Ana-Marija Guša (3D modeler)
• Neven Serdarušić (Game Designer, Programmer)

I would like to give credits and say thanks to our mentors Dominik Cvetkovski and Zvonimir Mikšić, who brought us,  with their knowledge, to this level where we can publish our first game.

About:

Dive into a new adventure trough medieval city of Ragusa based in 17th century which is inspired by interesting and authentic history of Dubrovnik.  Explore this unique Mediterranean environment and discover the lifestyle of his citiznes with following the main character Dundo Maroje, who will guide and entertain you with little task that you need to solve. 

The game is still in development but you can try out our free demo which includes four levels, starting on mountain of Srđ, where our main character lives, trough saving the villagers from wolfs attack, haunting the rabbits, delivering goods into city with carriage or sneaking into City by avoiding enemies, feel and see how Dubrovnik what it used to look like. 

Control Scheme: 

This is a third person game.  The player is taking control over Dundo Maroje with W (forward), S (back), A (left), D (right) keys on the keyboard, and rotates the camera around the main character with the MOUSE. With MOUSE player can kick with hands and legs, or use some of weapons by choice (sword, gun, axe or bow). 
With SPACE key the player jumps, with C player can crouch, with CTRL make roll forward and take sprint with SHIFT.  You can aim with weapon for easier shooting by clicking MOUSE 1, or you can strafe with TAB. 

Player also have choice to ride a horse, mounting with F on keyboard.  Riding take place on the same principles as controling main character (walking, running and jumping).  Weapons can be choosed by using 4, 5, and 6 on keyboard, depends on which holster is used.
